Intercash Card Top-Up Process
The top-up process for Intercash cards follows the standard top-up flow. This guide outlines the steps for topping up Intercash cards, including the use of both virtual and real accounts, handling currency exchanges, and managing errors.
Initiating Top-Up Transaction
Begin the top-up process by selecting the Intercash card you wish to top up.
Choose the source of funds, which can now be either a virtual account or a real account.
Currency Exchange (If Applicable)
If the top-up involves a currency exchange, the system will create separate transactions for the exchange and its associated commission.
After the successful exchange, the funds will be placed in the client’s account that supports the received currency.
The subsequent card top-up will be executed from this account.
Error Handling in Credit Transactions
Insufficient Funds or Incorrect Credentials:
If an error occurs due to insufficient funds in the white-label account at Intercash or incorrect credentials, the transaction will be placed on hold.
The transaction will remain on hold until a white-label administrator intervenes to resolve the issue.
Other Errors:
For other types of errors, the credit transaction will be declined, and the funds will remain in limbo.
This means the client has initiated a payment but will not receive the top-up. The white-label provider must address and resolve these issues.
Handling Top-Up with Currency Exchange and Transfer Approval
If a card top-up involves a currency exchange and the transfer approval feature is enabled for the card provider, special rules apply.
Upon cancellation of the debit transaction for the card top-up, the exchanged currency will remain in the client’s account.
Only the exchange commission will be deducted from the account, ensuring the client retains the exchanged funds.
