Metadata
Crassula strongly advises clients not to use metadata for their own purposes, as it is reserved for Crassula’s internal technical data. Using metadata for custom purposes may lead to system conflicts, logic disruption, and technical issues.
Overview
Metadata in Crassula is a set of technical data stored under system entities such as client profiles, accounts, or other system components. It is used for internal system operations and functionality. For example, metadata can be seen in client profiles in the Admin Panel, containing fields like accountType
and Sumsub applicantID
.
Risk of usage
Do not use metadata for custom tasks unless fully aware of the risks.
If you choose to use metadata, Crassula recommends adding prefixes (e.g., ExampleWLName_
) to avoid overwriting system data. Crassula will not implement filtering features or extend metadata functionality unless it is crucial for internal development. Any issues arising from improper usage of metadata will be the responsibility of the WL.
If custom information needs to be added to system entities, Crassula can design an alternative solution tailored to your needs, avoiding risks associated with metadata usage.
