Access roles (eCommerce)

Overview

The Access roles tab provides the list of all access roles registered at the platform. An access role defines the authorized activities for merchant staff; therefore, a company employee can be assigned to a list of actions permitted in the web interface. Find, review, and edit the details using the Access roles tab.

Opening the item

Follow the steps below to see the list of access roles:

  1. Navigate to the Admin Panel.

  2. Click eCommerce on the left sidebar.

  3. Go to the Access roles menu item to open the list.

Follow the steps below to browse role details:

  1. Navigate to the Admin Panel.

  2. Click eCommerce on the left sidebar.

  3. Go to the Access roles menu item.

  4. Click Edit in an access role line to open its details.

Parameter

Description

Id

The column demonstrates unique role identification numbers in the Crassula system.

Name

The column includes access roles names.

Description

Additional role description defined while creation.

Enabled

Defines whether the role status is Enabled or Disabled.

Action

  • Click Edit to open a role with the right to edit the details.

  • Click Delete to remove a role.

Filters

Search for access roles by name and status; multiple-choice is available.

Add new

Create an access role manually.

Click to access the current page right from the Admin Panel.

Configuring the component

Access role details is the main panel of role information display and editing.

Parameter

Description

Name

The name set during the role creation process.

Description

Additional role description set during the creation process.

Enabled

Defines whether the role status is Enabled or Disabled.

Roles

Set the actions allowed for the access role in the list:

  • Merchant dashboard provides access to the following actions:

    • Index – browse the Merchant Dashboard.

  • Merchant report provides access to the following actions:

    • Transactions - initiate a report for transactions.

    • Payouts - initiate a report for payouts.

    • Fail reasons - initiate a report for failed transactions.

  • Merchant export provides access to the following actions:

    • Transactions - export the list of transactions.

    • Payouts - export the list of payouts.

    • Fail reasons - export the list of failed transactions.

  • Merchant subscription provides access to the following actions (repeated payments such as monthly subscriptions):

    • Read – browse subscription details.

    • List – browse the list of subscriptions.

    • Update - change subscription configurations.

  • Merchant transaction provides access to the following actions:

    • Reverse – make refunds for transactions executed previously.

  • Merchant project provides access to the following actions:

    • List - browse the list of projects.

    • Create - create a project.

    • Read - browse project details.

    • Update - change project configurations.

    • Upload files - import files for projects.

  • Merchant staff provides access to the following actions:

    • List - browse the list of merchant staff.

    • Create - add a new staff member.

    • Read - browse staff member details.

    • Update - change staff member details.

    • IsPasswordAvailable - the option is required for credentials update.

  • Merchant payout provides access to the following actions:

    • Create – make a payout.

  • Merchant mass payout provides access to the following actions:

    • Create – make a mass payout.

  • Merchant package set provides access to the following actions:

    • List - browse the list of package sets.

    • Create - add a new package set.

    • Read - browse package set details.

    • Update - change package set details.

    • Delete - remove a package set.

  • Merchant currency exchange provides access to the following actions:

    • Create - create a new exchange order.

Useful tips

Remember to grant access roles to decision-makers of a merchant company (for example, a CEO or an accountant).
