WhiteBIT is a cryptocurrency exchange that Crassula connects as a rate and exchange provider - similar in role to other exchange integrations, such as Kraken. Once enabled on your platform, Crassula fetches live exchange rates and executes trades on your own WhiteBIT account, on your behalf: orders are placed and settled using your business's funds, not Crassula's.
This makes WhiteBIT a strong option if you want to offer your clients real-time crypto exchange - crypto-to-crypto, fiat-to-crypto, and crypto-to-fiat, - without building and maintaining your own exchange infrastructure.
Connecting WhiteBIT only requires an API key and secret from your WhiteBIT account, no additional integration work on your side.

*Not every combination of supported currencies can be exchanged directly. For example, there is no direct POL↔ETH market on WhiteBIT, so that specific pair isn't available for rates or exchange.
**Within a pair that WhiteBIT does support, if you request the rate in the opposite direction from how the market is listed (e.g., you ask for USDT→BTC, but WhiteBIT lists the market as BTC_USDT), Crassula calculates it automatically by inverting the rate. The supported currency list can grow over time as new assets are validated.
Geographic Availability and Regional Product Restrictions
WhiteBIT is available in many jurisdictions, but availability of the platform and of individual products depends on the user's country of residence, applicable regulatory restrictions, and the outcome of KYC. How It Works
-
Your client requests a rate for a currency pair (e.g., USDT → BTC).
-
Crassula retrieves the live price from WhiteBIT and shows it to the client, including your configured markup, if any.
-
The client confirms the exchange.
-
Crassula checks that your WhiteBIT trading account has sufficient balance:
-
if enough -> we place the order
-
if not enough -> we retry the balance request for ~24 hours, waiting for funds to be added. If no funds are added, the order is declined.
-
-
The exchange status updates automatically — in progress, completed, or cancelled — without manual follow-up on your side.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
-
A WhiteBIT account with verification completed (KYC / business account).
-
Your WhiteBIT trading balance funded in the currencies you plan to exchange from.
-
Access to create API keys in your WhiteBIT account.
Good to know: WhiteBIT doesn't provide a sandbox environment. If you want to test the integration, testing happens on production credentials with real funds.
Steps
-
Create a WhiteBIT account at http://whitebit.com and complete verification.
-
Fund your trading balance in every currency you intend to offer for exchange.
-
Create an API key:.
-
Enable the Trade permission (to place and cancel orders) and Balance/Read (to read balances).
-
Optionally, restrict the key to Crassula's IP addresses - these are provided on request.
-
-
Send your API credentials to Crassula using a secure channel. Never paste keys into a support ticket, chat, or plain email. Follow the secure data submission guideline.
-
Clearly label which value is the Public key and which is the Secret key - on WhiteBIT's side they look similar, and mixing them up is a common mistake.
-
-
In the same request, provide:
-
the list of currencies (and networks, for crypto) you want to enable;
-
the order type you want to use: Limit or Market;
-
whether same-asset exchanges (e.g., USD → USDT) should be allowed at a fixed 1:1 rate.
-
-
Once Crassula confirms the setup is complete, configure your minimum exchange amounts: go to Admin Panel → Exchange → FX Amount Limit and set a minimum for each currency.
Result
WhiteBIT appears as an active exchange provider. Clients can see live rates for your configured currency pairs and complete exchanges within the limits you've set.
