Zand

Overview

Zand is a UAE-based digital banking provider available within the platform. It allows account creation and payment operations, primarily within the United Arab Emirates.

The integration supports:

  • Local UAE payments in AED

  • Extended capabilities in USD, including international transfers

Zand acts as a local banking provider for the UAE market, enabling both domestic and selected international operations.

Default currencies

AED:

  • Domestic UAE payments

  • Incoming and outgoing transfers within the UAE

USD:

  • Local and international payments

  • SWIFT transfers available for international transactions

Please note that multi-currency accounts are not supported. Each account operates in a single currency only.

Accounts

What you can do:

  • Open accounts in AED or USD

  • Manage multiple accounts

  • View account details (including IBAN)

  • Suspend, unsuspend, or close accounts

Key characteristics:

  • Each account has a unique IBAN

  • Each account is single-currency (AED or USD)

Supported account operations:

Payments & Transfers

  1. UAE Local Transfers:

  • Send and receive domestic payments within the UAE

  • Available in AED and USD

  • Fast and automated routing within the local banking system

  1. International Transfers (SWIFT):

  • Available for USD accounts

  • Use to send and receive payments outside the UAE

  1. Internal Transfers:

  • Transfer funds between your own accounts

  • Send money to other users within the platform

  • Supports:

    • Same-currency transfers

    • Cross-currency transfers (e.g. AED ↔ USD)

  1. Incoming Payments:

  • Receive funds from external accounts

  • Automatically reflected in your account

  1. Outgoing Payments

  • Send funds locally or internationally

  • Track payment status within the platform
